PURPOSE:To restrain projection amounts of a lamp body by providing a recess at a part where the front end part of an adjusting rod is positioned among a reflection mirror, and arranging the operation shaft connected with a bevel gear such that it is more neared to the adjusting rod at the rear end than at the front end. CONSTITUTION:A recess 51 is provided for the reflection mirror 13 of a head lamp 1 for automobile so that it may store the front end part 40 of an adjusting rod 39. Among the recess 51, 53a is made in paraboloid so that it may become and effective reflection face. Bevel gears 66 and 67 are connected to rotate the rod 39. Since the axes of 66 and 67 are so inclined that they are more separated so they go forward, the operation shaft 64 connected to the gear 67 inclines such that it parts from the rod 39 at the front. Since the recess is formed in the reflection mirror this way, the depth of the head lamp can be made small. Also, since the operation shaft and the adjusting rod are arranged inclinedly, the projection amounts of the lamp body can be made small. |
