PURPOSE:To improve color reproducibility and, above all, saturation by mainly incorporating an emulsion which can form a latent image in a silver halide particle and an emulsion fogged on or in the silver halide particle into one emulsion layer. CONSTITUTION:The emulsion which forms the latent image in the silver halide particle (called as an internal latent image type emulsion) is incorporated into at least one silver halide emulsion layer and the emulsion which is fogged on or in the silver halide (called as a fogging emulsion) is incorporated into the same layer. The layer ontg. the internal latent image type emulsion and the fogging emulsion may be incorporated into any color sensitive layer and is more preferably incorporated into a green-sensitive or red-sensitie layer. Any of silver bromide, silver iodobromide, silver iodochlorobromide, silver chlorobromide, and silver chloride may be used for the internal latent image type and other photosensitive silver halide photographic emulsions, and about <=30mol% silver iodide is usually incorporated therein. The silver iodobroide or silver iodochlorobromide is used. The color reproducibility is improved in this way. |
