PURPOSE:To improve the kneadability and grindability at the time of toner production by incorporating a polymer obtd. by compounding a specific monomer and a vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the component thereof so as to make 100wt.% as a whole and copolymerizing the mixture into the above toner. CONSTITUTION:This toner is formed by incorporating the polymer obtd. by compounding 0.01 to 20wt.% monomer expressed by formula I and 80 to 99.99wt.% vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the component expressed by the formula I so as to make 100wt.% as a whole and copolymerizing the mixture. In the formula, R1 to R3 denote hydrogen and methyl group. The vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the monomer expressed by formula I denotes styrene, alpha-methyl styrene, etc. The kneadability and grindability are improved in this way. |
