<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a master device by allowing a master device to edit (prepare) one kind of printout format data in stead of two kinds of ordinary data in each terminal to meet the requirement of each terminal and to transmit the edited data in accordance with a request from each terminal. CONSTITUTION:At the time of receiving the printout format data edited by a host computer 11, the terminal can use the printout format data of one kind for two purposes, i.e. a business form output to a printer 15 and data for a table operating tool. Thereby, it is unnecessary for the host computer 11 to edit two kinds of data such as the table operating tool data and printout data having the table operating tool data in each terminal, and in stead of the ordinary method, only one kind of printout format data are edited in each terminal. Consequently, the load of the host computer 11 can be reduced.</p> |
