The equipment is for a multiple wood-planing machine, having adjustable feed rollers spaced apart in the feed direction and bearing against the surface of the work. Rotary planing tools are similarly mounted and adjustable, some of them on slides, and work against the different faces. A feeler mechanism (2) is mounted on a slide (1), having one or more movable components (5, 6). As the slide is moved forward in relation to others, these come to bear against feed rollers (7, 8) and/or their shafts (9) and actuate a limit switch (10) stopping the forward movement.
