The fire-fighting hose maintenance plant consists of a washing machine, drier and a transport system to guide the hose through them for treatment. The transport system consists of an endless conveyor (6), whose reciprocating strand (8,9) is fitted with connectors (3) for joining to the hoses (32) as required. Pref. the strands are longer than the max. hose length. ADVANTAGE - Simple design for fully utilising conveyor movements.
