Proximity switch with integral housing - uses sensor sunk into cup of plastics material

The proximity switch has a fixed housing (8) and with components, including a sensor, mounted on a circuit board and embedded in plastics material in the housing. The sensor is sunk into a cup (4) and comprises a device set in or injected into a mould form (20) on the circuit board connected to the cable (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - Can be embedded without interrupting preparation process. Required electrical values are maintained. Simplifies injection process.
