PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas generating agent composition and its molding for an air bag as a passenger protection device in an automobile in which the molding is easy in handling, has low toxicity and small danger, is excellent in combustion efficiency and gas generation efficiency, is small in a residual product amount at the time of combustion, is safe in the production and is strong in molding strength at the time of molding. SOLUTION: The gas generating agent composition contains (a) 3-40 wt.% fuel consisting of a polyacrylic polymer compound, a polyacetal, a urea resin, a melamine resin, a ketone resin or a cellulose polymer compound, (b) 30-94 wt.% of an oxidizing agent selected from ammonium nitrate or phase stabilized ammonium nitrate and (c) 0.5-20 wt.% at least one king of a combustion accelerating agent selected from an oxyacid a salt such as a metallic nitrate, a metallic nitrite, a metallic perchlorate or a chlorate. |
