Process for sorting waste, esp. hazardous material contaminated with blood, which is generated by prods. contained in a sterilised package that is opened only immediately prior to use by e.g. a nurse, is carried out by the same person or people using a specially designed sorting station. The station is also claimed, comprising a table with several holes for plastic bags which is mounted on a stand, having a hopper device under at least one of the holes with a first section for securing the bag and a second section that forms a shield for at least the upper section of the bag. |
