PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power device capable of decreasing an input distortion by a simple circuit configuration, and having higher circuit efficiency as well. SOLUTION: Concerning this device, the midpoint of the series circuit of diodes D1, D2 out of those D1-D4 constituting a full-wave rectifier DB is connected to one end of an AC power source Vs, and a filter capacitor C1 is connected in parallel with the series circuit of the diodes D1, D2. In parallel with the capacitor C1, the series circuit of a pair of switching elements Q1, Q2 to be turned on and off alternately by a high frequency is connected. In reverse/ parallel with the switching elements Q1, Q2, diodes D3, D4 are connected respectively. In parallel with the diode D2, a capacitor C2 is connected. A diode D5 is connected between the other end of the AC power source Vs and the cathode of the diode D1. And a load circuit 1 is connected between the connection point of the capacitor C2 and the diode D5 and the midpoint of the series circuit of the switching elements Q1, Q2. |
