The heater standing on four legs has a square perforated baseplate and four sidewalls of equal height (20 cm). Two conventional tubular elements in its centre radiate heat in all directions. The sidewalls may be of heat-resistant plastic with an interior coating which reflects infrared radiation received from the red-hot tubes. Max. reflection towards the outside is achieved with reflectors on the walls set at 45 deg. to the direction of the tubular elements. ADVANTAGE - Energy is saved by double conversion of electrical energy into heat, including infrared emission from the walls.
