The instrument consists of a body (10) in two lengthwise sections (11,12) which can slide relative to one another by use of a spring-loaded lever (30,40) and a tenon and mortise joint (111,121). The tips of the two sections (11,12) are connected by a pivot (5) and a pin (6) connected by a lever link which enables them to open and close. The instrument section (11) opposite the lever has a projecting fin (70) to facilitate positioning, and the two sections (11,12) and the lever are connected by an elastic joint (20). The tips (112,122) of the instrument's two sections can have serrated surfaces to act as a clamp or be sharpened to form scissors. ADVANTAGE - More convenient to manipulate.
