FIELD: tea industry. SUBSTANCE: for production of tea, used as initial raw material are briquettes prepared by special method. Pressing of such briquettes is conducted in medium of inert gas. Used as raw material are tea dust, tea fannings, veins, peduncles, tea leaf hair in mixture or in any combination of components. Crushing is conducted by grinding of mixture up to homogeneous mass. Then, it is mixed with flavor in blending drum at 4-5 rpm/min for 4-5 min and packed in bags by 1.5-5.0 g.
