PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst combustion type exhaust gas treatment equipment for carrying out the combustion of exhaust gas at a possible highest temperature not beyond the allowable heat-resistant temperature of a combustion catalyst layer. SOLUTION: In a catalyst combustion type exhaust gas treatment equipment in which exhaust gas in an exhaust gas line is burnt on a combustion catalyst layer and the temperature of exhaust gas is controlled by air from an air feed pipe based on the combustion temperature at an outlet of the combustion catalyst layer, an exhaust gas calorie measuring device 27 for measuring the calorie of the exhaust gas 19 and controlling the air amount from the air feed pipe 26 so as to set the catalyst deterioration allowable temperature or lower based on the detected result is provided on an exhaust gas line 28 between an exhaust gas fan 2 and an air feed pipe 26. |
