PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer the laser beam machining head of a laser beam machine at a high speed and to balance the attracting force generating at the time of using a linear motor. SOLUTION: In this driving device, the Y axial carriage 17 provided the laser beam machining head 21 is transferred in the Y axial direction to the frame 15 in the laser beam machine. In this case, the magnet part of the linear motor 15 is provided in the front frame 15 side and the coil part of the linear motor 15 is provided in the position corresponding to the magnet part of the Y axial carriage 17 side, and a guide rail 29 is provided in the frame 15 side and the guide part 31 being guided with the guide rail 29 and transferring is provided in the Y axial carriage 17 side. |
