<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent which is inexpensively and stably available in large quantities and a technique by which the occurrence of dioxins can be suppressed easily. SOLUTION: An agent which can suppress the occurrence of dioxins at the time of incinerating waste contains at least one kind of component selected out of a group composed of calcined dolomite composed mainly of magnesium oxide and calcium carbonate and dolomite and, preferably, the calcined dolomite composed mainly of magnesium oxide and calcium oxide. In a method for using the agent, wastes are incinerated or heat-treated under the presence of the agent.</p> |
