An electronic blackboard system (100) comprising a PDP for displaying characters and images, a touch input device having a touch panel surface at the front of the PDP, a printer for outputting image data on recording paper, and a computer for performing a display control of the PDP and a print control of the printer according to the inputs entered from the touch input device. The system further comprises a board section (601) for holding at a predetermined height display and write surfaces of the electronic blackboard formed by the PDP and the touch input device, a printer accommodation section (614) for accommodating the printing apparatus, a computer accommodation section (612) for accommodating the computer, and a frame unit (600) in which are stacked, from the bottom upward, the computer accommodation section (612), the printer accommodation section (614) and the board section (601) in that order.
