<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric double-layered capacitor having an increased electrostatic capacity per volume. SOLUTION: An electric double-layered capacitor 2 comprises a separator 11, polarized electrode 12, 12, current collecting electrodes 23, 23, and a box 14 housing the separator 11, the polarized electrodes 12, 12, and the current collecting electrodes 23, 23. Since activated carbon sheets 12a, 12a constituting the polarized electrodes 12 solidify an organic solvent base electrolytic solution with gel-like polymer without using a binder, they can increase the electrostatic capacity per volume of the electric double-layered capacitor 2. Also, since the current collecting electrode 23 is shaped like a mesh, when the polarized electrode 12 is pressed, it is integrated via the current collecting electrode 23 and is put into stable contact with the current electrode 23. Therefore, the electrostatic capacity of the electric double-layered capacitor 2 does not decrease even at a low pressure.</p> |
