PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic information recording device that can automatically and securely prevent inadequate information from being recorded in an area which should be secured as an actual pause area. SOLUTION: Information is recorded on a disk 1 with the recording beam emitted by a pickup 2. The disk 1 has a read-in area where index information on information to be recorded on the disk 1 is recorded and a program area where the information to be recorded is recorded. A recording state detecting means 7 judges whether or not the information which should be recorded in the program area is recorded and when it is judged that the information which should be recorded is not recorded, the information which should be recorded begins to be recorded through the pickup 2 at the position which is more than 2 seconds behind the start point of the program area. |
