PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change a code by housing a specified pin in a fixed outer cylinder and a rotary inner cylinder and forming recesses for a code at the side face of a key in a specified condition. SOLUTION: A plurality of housing holes 2A-2D for driver pins formed at every 90 degrees interval and radial housing holes for selector pins are provided in a fixed outer cylinder 1, and driver pins 6A-6D and selector pins are housed therein respectively to urge them toward a rotary inner cylinder 3 side. Subsequently, a plurality of sets of housing holes 4A, 4B for code pins are formed apart by 90 degrees from a key insertion hole 5 to house code pins 8A, 8B and change pins 9A, 9B. Further, code recesses 11 with which the tips of the pins 8A, 8B are engaged or from which the tips are disengaged are provided. A first key 5 that a locking groove 22 is filled with a closing bar is inserted in the hole 5 and the selector pins are returned to the housing holes for the selector pins and then, the inner cylinder 3 is turned by 90 degrees and taken out. Thereafter, separate each key is inserted in the hole 5 and the pins 9A, 9B are correspondingly transferred to the recess 11. In this way, the key code can be easily changed and the structure can be simplified.
