PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oil leakage from an oil damper by supporting a packing spring in a stable condition all the time using a press bearing which is easy to work and assembly. SOLUTION: Forming a peripheral flange 8 by bending a peripheral portion which is a mounting portion against a packing case 5, forming also an annular groove 11 opening to the front side by pushing a main part 9 corresponding to the internal circumference of the peripheral flange 8 toward the rear side, using a bearing 6 of press forming in the internal wall surface of the main part 9 with a sliding metal 12 which guides a piston rod 4, adapting one end at least of the packing spring 16 to the annular groove 11 which is the main part 9 of the press bearing 6, and also holding one end of the packing spring 16 by fitting into the annular groove 11 of the press bearing 6. |
