PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Gunn diode oscillator, capable of sufficiently dealing with raising the frequency and suppressing generation of the TM waves which are unwanted. SOLUTION: The Gunn diode oscillator comprises parallel tabular conductors 1a, 1b disposed at an interval of 1/2 or less of a high-frequency signal wavelength, a Gunn diode 4 mounted so that an oscillating surface is mounted n a mounting hole 5, provided at the one conductor 1a so as to be opposed to an inner surface side of the conductor 1a, and dielectric strip, a center of the diode 4 is disposed at a center axis 2x of a strip 2. The strip 2 is electormagnetically coupled to the diode 4 via LSE waves. |
