PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle side image generating device capable of indicating and warning by detecting the approaching vehicle, based on the image photographed with a photographing part protruded at a front of the vehicle, indicating the side image at the indicating part when the vehicle approaching near is present, and intensifying or discriminably indicating the approaching vehicle in the indicated side image. SOLUTION: Based on image data concerning right and left both sides of the vehicle photographed with the photographing part 21, there are provide a stop judging part 12 judging the stop of a first vehicle, an approaching vehicle detecting part 13 detecting the approaching vehicle, an image selecting part 14 selecting the data concerning the side image at the side where an approaching second vehicle is present, an image generating part 16 generating the image indicated with a monitor 22, and an image switching part 18 switching a connection state between external equipment 23 and the monitor 22. |
