PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel ink jet air brush system and method of expanding the concept of an ink jet print to applications for coating articles, such as walls and vehicles, with art works and other images. SOLUTION: An air brush system having a print head 35 for selectively releasing fluid 40 according to an emission signal 38, a structure 45 regulating a mixing chamber 46 for receiving and mixing the fluid 40 released from the print head 35 and an atomizer 42 for forming the mixed fluid from the mixing chamber 46 to a misty form and releasing the misty fluid 25 is constituted. The coating application method performs coating application dividedly to a step of forming the emission signal 38, a step of releasing the fluid 40 from the fluid release head 35 according to the emission signal 38, a step of mixing the released fluid 40, a step 42 of putting the mixed fluid into the misty form and a step of propelling the fluid 25 made into the misty form onto the object 26. |
