PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method capable of improving fatigue strength of a welded joint without necessarily providing special after-treatment after welding. SOLUTION: The welding method comprises using, as welding materials, an alloy of iron which expands from the startup of martensitic transformation at room temperature by containing C of 0.025 wt.%, Si of 0.33 wt.%, Mn of 0.70 wt.%, Ni of 10.0 wt.%, Cr of 10.0 wt.%, and Mo of 0.13 wt.%, preheating only the welding part of a main plate 1, welding the ends (figure 3-(1) and (2)) facing each other in the longitudinal direction 4 at the cross-sectional surface 3 of the welding part of a rib plate 2, and thereafter welding the remaining part. |
