<p>The felt structure for compacting textile materials, in a non-shrink finishing process, has at least one woven base (1) supporting a needle-bonded non-woven layer (2). The nonwoven layer (2) contains an elastic knitted material (3) at least on its upper surface zone. The elastic material (3) is a continuous knitted tube. It is stitched with threads (4) forming a top layer on the outermost surface of the non-woven layer (2). The woven base (1) is composed of a monofilament (1a) overlaid by a multifilament (1b,1c).</p> |
