POWER OUTPUT APPARATUS, ITS CONTROL METHOD, AND AUTOMOBILE MOUNTED WITH THIS POWER OUTPUT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy efficiency of an apparatus by operating an internal combustion engine provided in a power output apparatus corresponding to states of the power output apparatus.

SOLUTION: This hybrid vehicle, which torque-converts the power from the engine with an epicyclic gear mechanism and two motors connected with a rotating element of the epicyclic gear mechanism and outputs the torque-converted value to a driving shaft connected with a driving wheel, stores a plurality of different operation lines LP, L0 to L3 with a constraint of different conditions for power outputted from the engine, and operates the engine and controls driving of the two motors by establishing the operation lines corresponding to a vehicle speed and motor conditions, thus improving energy efficiency of a vehicle and accommodating the output limit of an apparatus such as a motor.
