<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lighting equipment having an improved perspective appearance and an improved light distribution at the side surface. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting equipment comprises a main body 3 having a lamp 1 mounted on a lower surface, and a globe 4 having larger transmissivity at the side surface 4b than that at the lower surface 4a, mounted to a globe fixture 2 arranged near to the outer periphery of the lower surface, and the part located at the outside of the globe fixture 2 formed at the peripheral part of an opening of the globe 4 is substantially turned into a translucent part 5.
