The device comprises a foremilking parlour and/or a cleaning box for cleaning certain parts, such as the teats of the animal (2), and/or a post-treatment box, said foremilking parlour and/or said cleaning box and/or said post treatment being suitable for performing at least one treatment in various modes, and in that the mode of the treatment is selected with the aid of the control signal.
