An alkali-free photosensitive glass powder and a paste composition are provided to obtain desired refractive index and thermal expansion coefficient even without using the conventional alkali components such as Li2O, Na2O, K2O, etc. An alkali-free photosensitive glass powder comprises 40-70wt% of P2O5, 1-20wt% of Al2O3, 1-20wt% of BaO, 17-65wt% of ZnO, 1-20wt% of CaO, 1-10wt% of MgO, and 0.2-10wt% of Nb2O5, and has a refractive index of 1.5-1.7. The photosensitive glass powder does not gel. The photosensitive glass powder has a particle size distribution in a bimodal shape, and a glass transition temperature(Tg) of 450-520 °C. A photosensitive glass paste composition is obtained by mixing the photosensitive glass powder with a photosensitive vehicle. |
