PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate to specify what is targeted out of history images of image processing. SOLUTION: A document management system 10 manages an electronic document and its attribute information (for example, information on approval status of the document). When receiving an instruction of image processing to the electronic document from a use terminal 20, the document management system 10 sends image processing request information 210 which describes the content of the electronic document etc. by a page description language etc., and the attribute information 212 of its electronic document to a request processing part 120. The request processing part 120 passes the image processing request information 210 to an image processing part 140 to be processed. An image log registration part 130 generates image processing history information 222 such as processing date and time and a history image 220 which shows an image which is subjected to image processing from the image processing request information 210 acquired from the request processing part 120 and registers these into an image log management part 150 together with the attribute information 212.
