PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency call terminal capable of making a wireless emergency call to a predetermined destination in an emergency, such as when a user is abducted by car, and also capable of reducing unnecessary emergency calls. SOLUTION: The emergency call terminal comprises a traveling speed detection part (1, 4) for detecting a traveling speed of the terminal; a transportation means usage status recognizing part (2) for putting up a flag at the start of use of a predetermined means of transportation and putting down the flag at the completion of use of the predetermined means of transportation; and transmission parts (3, 4, 5) for transmitting information for emergency call by wireless to a predetermined destination. When the flag is in a state other than being erect on and the traveling speed is not lower than a predetermined value, the emergency call terminal automatically transmits the information for emergency call, to a predetermined destination.
