The invention relates to the construction material industry and can be used for producing gypsum binders, gypsum concretes and products based thereon. The gypsum binders and the products based thereon exhibit a high freeze- and water-resistance. The inventive waterproof gypsum binder (Gypsovit), which is a mixture of alpha- and beta-gypsum hemidrate, anhydrite, estrich gypsum or a combination thereof, mineral filler, plasticiser, gypsum binder active component, activator and water, also contains barium compounds, wherein the thus produced gypsum binder mixture is also exposed to mechanical and chemical activation with the following componentratio, in mass%: 36-70 mass% a and ß hemihydrates of calcium sulfate, anhydrite, estrich gypsum or a combination thereof, 3-30 mass% mineral filler, 0.2-2.0 plasticiser, 3-27 mass% barium compounds, 0-25 mass% gypsum binder active component, 0.01-1.5 mass% activator and 0.40-0.65 mass% water.
