PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of water leakage determination results and perform a reliable water leakage detection.SOLUTION: The water leakage detection device includes a sensor, an A/D conversion unit, a counter unit, and a water leakage determination unit. The sensor is installed on a pipeline, and catches vibration and sound generated from the pipeline. The A/D conversion unit samples a signal caught by the sensor at a predetermined frequency and converts it into a digital signal. The counter unit compares a signal level of the digital signal converted by the A/D conversion unit with an upper limit determination signal level and a lower limit determination signal level, and includes a counter being equal to or more than an upper limit level which increments a count value by one when the signal level exceeds the upper limit determination signal level and a counter being less than a lower limit level which increments the count value by one when the signal level is less than the lower limit determination signal level. The water leakage determination unit determines the state as the water leakage when a ratio of the counter value of the counter being equal to or more than an upper limit level to the counter value of the counter being less than a lower limit level in a fixed time interval is 1 or greater. |
