PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor for inspection or selection of a printed matter, to improve an operation efficiency and to reduce cost. SOLUTION: In this quality inspection/selection method for a printed matter, quality inspection is executed by imaging a sheet type printed matter 1 wherein labels are printed on plural partitions while the printed material is conveyed. Quality inspection data of each label 2 on the printed matter 1 having the label which is judged to be defective in quality is indicated on a quality discrimination paper 6 by means of a plotter. The quality discrimination paper 6 is nipped between two mounts 4, 5 and is inserted under a bunch of laminated printed materials. The printed matter 1, two mounts 4, 5 and quality discrimination paper 6 are cut to be divided by each label 2. The divided quality discrimination paper 6a and the divided mount 5a at the lower side are loaded on the top face of the label 2 such that they maintain their positional relationship in the divided condition of the bunch of the laminated materials, thereby being bunched in a condition that the discrimination is indicated. |
