FIELD: lighting.SUBSTANCE: luminous net for sports equipment is made of flexible elongated elements (10) that are contiguous at specific points. Flexible elongated elements (10) are luminous and form waves (150) representing a sequence of protrusions and recesses. Each flexible elongated element includes an elongate sheath (100) which is transparent to light and made of a synthetic material; a series of luminous members (102) distributed in elongate sheath (100) in at least one row; and flexible reinforcing cord (101) which is arranged in sheath (100) and which extends across entire length thereof, and which is capable of imparting tensile strength to flexible element (10).
