A method of generating a map includes selecting a multimedia item from a plurality of multimedia items and selecting a fragment from the multimedia item. The multimedia item and the selected fragment are relevant to the map and to the interests of a user. Further, the method comprises creating an altered fragment based on the selected fragment and overlaying the altered fragment on the map as a multimedia icon.EFFECT: enabling generation of a map with multimedia icons which mark places of interest for the user.10 cl, 9 dwg |
