PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an exhaust emission control device to be installed at various sites while restricting reduction in exhaust emission controlling performance.SOLUTION: An exhaust passage 10 of an exhaust emission control device has an upstream segment 13 where an upstream side controlling part 16 is arranged; a downstream segment 15 where a downstream side controlling part 17 is arranged; and connecting segment 14 for connecting the upstream segment 13 with the downstream segment 15. The exhaust passage is bent at an acute angle at the connecting segment 14. In addition, a segment opposing against the upstream side controlling part 16 at the connecting segment 14 [an opposing wall part 14a] is formed with a first protrusion part positioned at a central part in a width direction [a direction crossing at a right angle with both a direction in the upstream segment 13 and a direction in the downstream segment 15], occupying a fine and long region extending from the upstream side toward the downstream side and having a shape protruded toward outside of the exhaust passage 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
