An apparatus for manufacturing a bioscaffold comprising: a positive pressure reservoir which, in use contains a polyester solution, and which is further in fluid communication with a nozzle from which said solution exits; a stage positioned adjacent said nozzle and adapted for movement along three axes X, Y and Z with respect to said nozzle and which, in use, supports a substrate on which said solution is deposited; and a voltage supply for creating an electric field between said nozzle and said stage or said substrate whereby solution exiting said nozzle flows as a continuous filament. |
