The present invention provides a gate valve capable of connecting two connection surfaces, which are at a right angle with each other in a valve plate accommodating frame, while the connection surfaces are in contact with two side walls, which are at the right angle to each other in a chamber. A fixing screw (18) is vertically screwed and attached to a screw hole (15) formed on a wall (2a) upper than a picture rail in the chamber by passing through a screw insertion hole (17) formed on a frame wall (4a) of the valve plate accommodating frame (4) of the gate valve (3). When the frame wall (4a) is pressed and fixed to the wall (2a) upper than the picture rail as the fixing screw (18) is clamped, propulsion in a direction at the right angle of an axis (L2) of the fixing screw (18) is generated in the valve plate accommodating frame (4) by a cam device (19) formed in the screw insertion hole (17) and the fixing screw (18). The other frame wall (4a) of the valve plate accommodating frame (4) is pressed and fixed to the other wall (2b) upper than the picture rail of the chamber (1) by the propulsion. |
