The present invention provides an exterior design member for a vehicle and a vehicle back door capable of improving stabilization of a changeable shape. In a back door body (10), a CFRP outer upper panel (24) is bonded to an upper part of a CFRP inner panel (20), and a polypropylene outer lower panel (22) is bonded to a lower part of the inner panel (20). In an outer edge unit of the back door body (10), an upper part forms a first outer edge unit (10A) which is reinforced by the outer upper panel (24) and a lower part forms a second outer edge unit (10B) of which strength is lower than that of the first outer edge unit (10A). Boundary units (10C1, 10C2) having a strength difference between the first outer edge unit (10A) and the second outer edge unit (10B) is configured to be a part which is weakened by adjacency of an aperture (28) for a small window.
