PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, for manufacturing a heat-sensitive recording medium, which features the realizing of simultaneous multi-layer application of each layer coating material falling onto a base material by preventing the layered shape of each layer coating material on a sliding slope surface from collapsing and, thereby allowing each layer coating material to be laminated on the other as required, in a curtain fashion.SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a heat-sensitive recording medium is to manufacture a heat-sensitive recording medium consisting of two layers, i.e. at least a lower layer side and an upper layer side, laminated on a base material 21. When each coating material film on the lower layer side and the upper layer side flows down the slope surface and becomes laminated on the other, the dynamic surface tension of the coating material Sc(Sb) of the coating material film on the lower layer side is set to be not less than 0.8 time and not more than 1.1 times as much as the dynamic surface tension of the coating material Sb(Sa) of the coating material film on the upper layer side. |
