PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential device capable of suppressing the invasion of oil scraped up by a ring gear and a differential case, into a breather chamber.SOLUTION: In a differential device 3, an intermediate wall 24 is formed, which has an arc-shaped notch portion 24A surrounding an outer peripheral portion of a differential case 11, in the inside of a differential cover 7, and extends from a bottom portion of the differential cover 7 toward an upper part along an end surface of a ring gear 12 to partition the inside of a housing 8 into a first space 25 in which the ring gear 12 is installed, and a second space 26 adjacent to the first space 25. A breather chamber 18 is formed in the second space 26, and a bulging portion 27 bulging to the outer side than a deep wall 22 is formed on the differential cover 7, under the breather chamber 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
