PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal pit for drainage with an inexpensive and sufficient defoaming effect.SOLUTION: A seal pit for drainage 100 comprises: a drain pipe 1 which has a drain outlet 11 to discharge drain water; and a weir 2 which is a partition between a water storage area A1 in which the drain water discharged from the drain pipe 1 is stored and a discharge area A2 to which the drain water in the water storage area A1 is discharged, and has an open hole 23 to communicate the storage area A1 and the discharge area A2 below a lowest water level LWL of the discharge area A2. A flow channel cross sectional area S of the open hole 23 is set so that the drain outlet 11 is located below the level of the drain water stored in the water storage area A1 and the level of the stored drain water does not exceed the height of the weir 2 even when the maximum amount of drain water is discharged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
