PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly identify an instruction written by an operator while reducing a space which is required on a medium to be written.SOLUTION: An electronic writing device 2 comprises: a RAM 203 for temporarily storing writing data corresponding to a writing character R which is a storage object to a server SV out of pieces of stroke data; a communication control unit 207 for sending the writing data to the server SV; and a mount part for holding a paper medium. The device is configured to determine a passage order of pieces of stroke data generated correspondingly to the written instruction pattern, on any of M×N pieces of lattice point areas arranged in a lattice-state of M rows and N columns, for performing writing of the instruction pattern which instructs desired processing, then, determines the desired processing corresponding to the instruction pattern on the basis of the determination result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
