PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium having high sensitivity and high spectral reflectance, by providing a recording film with a structure in which In particulates and an organic material are dispersed in a matrix comprising In2O3 as a main constituent, and specifying the amount of the In particulates. CONSTITUTION:An optical information recording medium comprises on a substrate a recording film for recording information by forming protuberant deformed parts by irradiation with a laser beam. The recording film comprises In particulates and an organic material dispersed in a matrix comprising In2O3 as a main constituent, and the amount of the In particulates is 1-20wt.%. By using the recording film, it is possible to provide the optical information recording medium with excellent characteristics, namely, smooth bubble formation which gives high SNR, high sensitivity which enables bubble formation by irradiation with a low-power laser beam, spectral property with high reflectance which enables adoption of an inexpensive writing/reproducing optical system, or the like, with favorable reproducibility. |
