PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for image forming device whose cooling mechanism, ozone processing mechanism, and dustproof mechanism are gathered in one area, and which can improve the ozone processing mechanism. SOLUTION: This cooling device for image forming device consists of an integrally-extruded aluminum material 8 and a resin material 9, and is formed so that a dustproof filter 22 is mounted at the opening 21 of an image forming unit 1 side at a little inner position of the opening 23 on fixing unit 4 side so as to be capable of drawing an ozone filter 25 of catalyst type to this side of the respective devices. A cross flow fan 26 is disposed at an end part on the fixing unit 4 side in parallel to the image forming unit 1 or the fixing unit 4. Ozone or dust generated around the forming unit 1 is carried on air flow generated by the cross flow fan 26, and the dust is removed by the dustproof filter 22 when it is led in from the opening 21, the ozone is removed by the ozone filter 25 activated by the heat from the fixing unit 4, and the air is exhausted to the outside of this device by the cross flow fan 26. |
