The locking control includes a spherical connection (2) between the press chassis (1) and the rotating table (3). A secondary actuator locks the spherical connection during presence of oil pressure within it. The actuator is supplied through a diversion of the main circuit supplying the principal actuator (7). This diversion circuit has a restriction (81). The secondary actuator can be supplied through a pressure limiter.
