<p>Dialkylamino-quinazolone derivs. - with anti-inflammatory activity. Title compounds of formula (I): (where R is 1 - 4C alkyl, R1 is 1 - 5C alkyl and Y and Y1 are H, F, Cl, Br, 1 - 4C alkyl or 1 - 4C alkoxy), which have anti-inflammatory properties, are prepared by reacting a compound of formula (II) with an aldehyde of the formula R'-CHO (where R' is H or 1 - 3C alkyl) in the presence of a reducing metal catalyst (pref. Raney-Ni). This reductive alkylation reaction is pref. carried out in an inert organic solvent at elevated pressure and at a temperature of 10 - 80 degrees C (esp. at room temperature).</p> |
