PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a constant peripheral velocity of a rotating body, by, even if the rolling body is eccentric, detecting the amount of the eccentricity and the rotational position in relation between them, and adjusting the rotational speed. SOLUTION: The amount of eccentricity in a rotating body 1 driven and rolled by a driving source 7 is detected by an eccentricity detecting means 10 in correspondence with the rotational position of the rotating body 1. The rotational speed of the rotating body 1 is varied and adjusted based on the detected amount of eccentricity and the corresponding rotational position, so that the peripheral velocity of the rotating body 1 is constant. As a result, the intended peripheral velocity of the rotating body 1 is constantly maintained without any adjustment to the eccentricity of the center of rotation even if the rotating body 1 is eccentric. |
